    cool can't wait to see it,

    and I bet it's not going to be long before some company makes a complete taillight replacement with the afterburner look, that is why I decided not to get the AAC ones

        I think I know how to get the afterburner look, so I ordered a tail light to play with. Instead of telling someone else how I'd do it, I figured I'll just do it! I'll post if/when I have it right. The light should come in tomorrow or Thursday.

        The plan is for a total drop-in: Pull the four lights and install new ones.

            I would like to see this too.... I have the AAC ones and happy with them. Hope to see what you are going to do. I will help if needed too as I saw the guys take mine apart and put back together. I have the new CFFL tube for mine that broke. I need to take mine back apart....

                The light came in!

                I can see that they tried to get the look via the inner lens. Points for trying. LOL

                          Tried 20 minutes at 230°F (like the headlights), then went up to 250°F.

                            Did you youtube any how to videos? I have seen some that say 350 for 15 minutes.
