  • Need a rim repair shop around chicago

I got 21" optional SS wheels like these:

    GM (General Motors) - 92230281 - GMPP 2010 Camaro SS V8 Black Painted Split 5 Spoke Single Wheel - 21" x 9.5" (EA279)

So I was driving through a tight parking lot and while turning through the tightest curb spacing I've ever came across I rubbed my wheel against it . My heart sunk like it never did before and my girlfriend next to me covered her ears expecting the worse

Anyways, long story short I have curb rash that needs to be fixed. I think its polished aluminum and its just the lip that needs work done. The rash is about a millimeter or two deep.

Just and FYI I just had a company out to my shop called, Alloy wheel repair, I was not impressed with the work. Nice guy but the finish when he was done was like sandpaper. They looked good from 10 feet away but not up close.

I can help for sure. Just keep in mind you get what you pay for. When we repair a wheel it comes back like new. It is a complete strip repair and refinish.
I have a 20 inch wheel and tire you can borrow if you like while the wheel is repaired.
Send me a pm if you would like to bring wheel in.

I've heard of these guys, but up until now hadn't heard a bad review... I'd venture to bet it may have been the individual franchisee that did your repair.
