    auto hurst comp shifter

    Here it is boys and girls, after 4 months of waiting here is the elusive automatic Hurst shifter kit for the Camaro yes I'd does exist, here is a pic of the very first production one to reach a Customer (as far as I know)

    And it comes with 2 Hurst equipped badges not one like I thought.



    Also Pete's dad called me to let me know that my car is ready, so I will be picking it up tomorrow if I find someone to give me a ride and I will be installing this bad boy.

    The drag strip is like sniffing glue, it's cheap, it's a decent buzz, it doesn't last long and they are all the same.
    Road racing is like China White Heroin, the buzz is stronger, the high lasts for hours, it's extremely addictive and they are all different.

        Jose what time you need to go? I may be able to bring you, but I will have my son with me.... I need to drop off a couple of parts at Petes too.

                Not one for a lot of cosmetic work, BUT, IMO, that shifter is sweet, 100% better than stock.

                Question? does it alow you to shift with the shifter rather than tap shift? or purely looks, either way its nice!!!

                  There is a guy on C5 that makes a shifter with the tap shifters on it if you're interested.

                  Jose, that will look very nice. If I wasn't hoping to get that hockey puck shifter from Real Wheels, I'd be all over that.

                    According to Hurst they are working on a tap shifter that you can add to this kit later on, or you can just get the plate and reuse your stock shifter and wait for the Hurst tap shifter when/if it comes out.

                          It's not that it took to long to come out, I and some other people preorder it 4 months ago and we where getting impatient, hurst never release a specific date.

                              Finally installed it, the install overall is not bad the only time consuming thing is installing the wire taps there is not a lot of room in there, I got the bloody fingers and knuckles to prove it.
