  • Trunk enclosure

want to share what I've been working on with the Monte, A member here on C5G has asked if I make trunk enclosures. Sounded like a oppertunity so heres the kit I have for the gen 6 Monte as soon as I find my way into the Camaro I'll work up a simular kit for it as well as a couple other popular car models.

The kit requires no hardware or physical modifications to the trunk, the side panels are placed into position by sliding them to the rear ,under the inner fender lip then pull back into position , then set the head panel into position and push upright until the three pieces are held static in place (note folds on back piece where the three pieces meet)

The back panel can be left whole as a solid barrier , decorated with a badge or easely cut to expose sub boxes...panels are very lightweight ( not much more than a set of floormats) adds a very clean look and lines to the trunk and allows strorage for cleaning and detail products out of site during shows and meets behind the panels...The material is a lightweight double walled tubular corex which can be covered with carpet or vinyl..
as soon as I can make arrangments with Xello or a 5th gen owner I'll get the Camaro set put together....what do you all think?
