  • Anyone ever use Plasti-dip?

Thinking of using it on my front end to give it a black look. I understand it's reversible, so that's why I'm interested in it. Just wondering how hard it'll be to remove the stainless steel bars?

I saw somebody on Camaro5 using it for their brake light bezels. I might test it out on them first. I liked how it looked.

I think it would look good on the front.

I'm planning on using it in the Monte rims this summer.

Here's a write up a friend of mine did.

I got 2 unopened cans in my garage if anyone wants them. Was going to use them on the G8.

I'd take em from you if you lived close by, I was going to try it on my wheels.

The rims on my car right now are plastidipped 1LT rims. They do the job. The custom rims are put away until it's warm again. Use the spray cans and not the dip.

                      Anyone ever use Plasti-dip?

Stumbled on this orange black SS in Houston this week.

It's painted completely with Plasti-Dip. Looks good. If you look closely on the hood you can see "Vivid Garage" subtlety under the black paint.

It's not for me; but I do admire how it came out.

I was dead set against it (for wheels especially) until they came out with colors besides black. I sprayed my 2nd set of wheels anthracite gray until I can get them powder coated. Still darker than I wanted but it will do for now. I still think the regular plastidip flat black looks terrible on wheels- makes them look like steelies. Here's the anthracite- blurry pic :-( I'll try to find a better one
                          :-/
