Anybody here installed a heritage grille on their own? I kinda am wanting to get one and install it, but a little leary of doing it without any help--and I am too cheap to pay Pete to install it, I think. LOL

Heh! They have that down to a science. You may want to check and see. I've seen them take off a front end in about 5 minutes.

The whole front end of the car has to come off to change the grill. Dont mean to scar you but its a bit difficult if you dont know what your doing. Petes guys know exactly where all the bolts are and its no nonsense over there, they have had mine off numerous times I wouldnt try it yourself.

Yeah, I know the whole front fascia has to come off. Which doesn't look too bad, just some of the bolts are a bit harder to get to. That and it's a bit hard to picture doing it alone and not scratching/gouging something, etc.

You buy the grille, drive it over to my place and I'll install it for ya.

Dave put ours in in the winter and the front clip ended up in the living room it was so cold. It is a bit of a pain but he didn't really have any problems. He is one of these guys that likes to do it himself. He did say that there are bolts where you don't realize there are. He did not remove the tires either.

I did it myself too, it's not that bad of a job.

Hardest part for me was getting the stock grille out of the bumper with all those dang clips.
